I can't say much other than hoping you and your friend are doing better now. I'm glad that God has blessed you with his wisdom., Don't worry, you're not spreading any 'bad spirit' around. It's a reminder of God's word and we need reminders from time to time.

I think to describe a Christian life as easy and happy, would be the wrong idea. It's not promised. In fact, you're probably going to be under a lot more attack, a lot more expectations and in some cases, possibly spiritual attack from elements that don't want to see you succeed. You won't be happy lalalala all the time.

But you get God with you all the time. And that makes all the difference. It allows you to smile at the storm as you go sailing home. It allows you, but you might find it hard or impossible. It is that assurance mostly, that allows you to smile eventually, maybe not at the start, but eventually.
