I casually started reading this when you put the first part up (I haven't read any Chastine for aaaages) and I gotta say, I really enjoyed it! I loved this part the most. Your John is pretty fearsome, but still in character. This bit I liked especially:

“I’d prefer you didn’t cut me off at all, actually. What if I was going to say something important?”

“You’d repeat it,” John stated calmly while looking between the glass and the whiskey thoughtfully.

Yeah, okay, one of the most impressive Chastine stories I have ever read. (Though, sadly, I don't think I've read an exponential amount. The compliment still stands!)

Oh, and I absolutely loveeee your OCs. They totally made the story for me. (Which is weird because you'd think, as an avid Chastine-supporter, I'd be more happy with the jealous!John.) Miracue was absolutely adorable, and is it just me or does his name resemble "Miracle"? Haha.
