Dearest Diary,

What an unpleasant feeling to be stopped immediately because you are too weak to breathe. I couldn't pinpoint the source of the discomfort (one finds it difficult to concentrate when one cannot draw breath) and I appear to be fine now. Tea helped, sleeping helped. Perhaps I have simply overloaded myself with caring for the church, ( Read more... )

or short-tempered because they chase their tails in circles like dogs. (But me and mine are the ones to be made into rugs? Hah!)

She never will. Likely because the prospect is so horrifying that she cannot shake the idea that the Horde doesn't see them as being, but as objects.

Not people who can argue, love, fight, rage, hate, move, or reason, but as furniture. It is in those moments that all the propaganda she reads from the criers is made true and real.

They will eat their children. They will wear their skins. The only natural recourse is to fight, and fight for the Alliance.

That's so sad, but so true. It's depressing RL (which is highly silly, I know). If it were up to me, Horde and Alliance would be allies against some game-run bad faction.

It's also depressing because Thistle would do those things (other than eat them). Some part of him would be sad about it, but he wouldn't hesitate to shoot them if he had to. Thistle's world is way too black and white, and they're Alliance.

*hugs the whole family* The book needs more Alliance, so things are more evenly balanced. I wonder why it's so Horde-heavy?
