Stephen Colbert is in town, and he has a show tonight at the performing center literally RIGHT NEXT TO THE RESTAURANT I WORK AT. And it just so happens that I am working from 5 to 11 pm today, and his show is at 11 pm, not to mention that I'm going to be the only waitress working from 9-11. OMG WAITRESS TO A CELEBRITY. Work was positively exhausting. Sookie Stackhouse made being a waitress look easy. I was supposed to get cut at 3 pm, but suddenly, it became insanely busy at around 2:45, so I had to stay for much longer than usual. I had a table with the owner's daughter.
