I've just gotten over being painfully full, and i figured i'd share why. Brandi sent me to Wal-Mart to get stuff for turkey burgers for dinner tonight, and i bought some extra stuff. Anyway, we ended up having greek chicken with red onion, green pepper, and portabello mushrooms mixed with wild rice couscous. It was soooo good. Plus, I got to cook. ( Read more... )

I have everything, dahling.

But I was only really going to bring an alarm clock with FM on it. What is the schedule there like? Do we have a lot of free time during the night?

last year, the day was kinda like this:
Breakfast in the AM--big group meeting--several little workshops throughout the day with lunch mixed in there somewhere--dinner--more workshop-ish things--group activities.
At night, everyone either congregates in the dorm's lobby or stays in his/her rooms. After "lights out" you can do whatever as long as you stay on the floor and stay quiet. (Slumber party, anyone?) Hence the need for a DVD player...or music.

Well, I'll be bringing my jankified laptop because I Can Not Live Without It. It has a dvd player on it. Plus, of course, cd player.

As for a cd player that everyone can listen to (such as a boombox?) I'm not sure how much I want to (over)pack. But then again, Savannah does have a large Jeep...

boombox...such a great, under-used word. You don't have to bring one though. I think the DVD thing will suffice. Bring something good to watch. I'll bring some of my DVDs, but chances are they won't be fun ones.

I wish i didn't have to room with Carrie Tilghman. Maybe I could camp out with you and Savannah? Lonely times.
