I picked up the newest Stephanie Meyer book , Breaking Dawn, for Emma (and for me) today. She had reserved it and was so excited when she got the call that it was in today.

She better read it fast, because I blew through the first three in a hurry. Of course I'll take my time on this one because who knows how long it will be until the next one

You know about the birth scene? I'd be prereading the birth scene. From what I have read online (pardon the spoilers) the other vampires rip Bella's stomach open to get Esmerenee out. Bella being the perfect MarySue is just fine.

too late...she stayed up till 3 a.m. reading. I just asked her if she had read it yet. She rolled her eyes, and said, Mom, I've seen wee little babies being born. A fictional c-section was gross, but I can handle it.

She said there's a lot more sex in this book though. She wouldn't let me read it first. I would have had to wrest it from her cold, dead hands, NRA style.
