i went to visit my great-aunt today in windsor locks, connecticut. it was the first time that i'd been to the nursing home where she now lives. there are birdcages mounted on the walls in the halls every 10 feet or so, with their name printed on a sticker on the cage. a white and light blue one was named precious - reminding me of the pregnant dog ( Read more... )

tonight was my first time driving the miata. ohhh man i really need to figure out how to drive a standard. when i shifted to third accidentally, instead of first, i think that's where i realized how far i have to go. lol oops. practice had damn well better make perfect because i want to be an expert by the time i get my license.

tomorrow morning at 6 i'm leaving for west virginia. it doesn't really feel like tomorrow, i'm not excited or anything yet. maybe a little scared though :P i've never had to manage a whole week with cold showers. hehe yup poor, spoiled heidi ( Read more... )
