So sad- everything is up and down lately. My friend Mariama's dad has mroe tumors found in his head this time, and one of the nice elderly park people passed away on Thursday. The man had a stroke just a few minutes after I whizzed past him running last Wednesday. He clunked his head on the sidewalk, and the next day he died. So sad. The other ( Read more... )

Spent much of the weekend touring showhouses for the local Parade of Homes- I have to say that even though someone buys a house for 2.9 million doesn't guarantee that it is well-carfted! I was so bored I felted big old beads to make a necklace and bracelet today! You can't really see in the photo but the beads are a cool mix of black and purple.

In today's good news...my cats have bee cleared of this mysterious mite that has been plaguing them for years and has gone misdiagnosed. Duvel is now off the antidepressents. How sick is that?!
