Amen! I couldn't have said it better myself. It does seem like people don't understand the full extent of things. And, indeed it does worry me that they don't. I don't pretend to say that I am a scholar, heck, I'm just a novice! But, as it is, we're all being called to do something greater than what we are. We must also try to get people to learn to worship for the right reasons. Did I give myself over to Jesus to spare myself the fire? No. I gave myself over to him because I love him, who he is, what he did for me, and I think it's the least I can do to honor somebody who has many of the same values as me.
It is my personal thought, that for some of us, we seek God before we even know Him. It is our own inner moral compass that get's us to Him, along with His sheer force of will. If we want Him in our lives, we have Him, because He wants to be there. Anyways, what I mean to say is: "Right-o!"
Keep up the good work of touching other people's lives, you've done well and will continue to do so!
