My sonogram is tomorrow morning at 10am. I AM SO EXCITED!!
I'm off for training shift #3 at Apple. I'm so much less knowledgeable than other people there, have never worked retail, and want so badly to do well that the whole thing makes me nervous.

Also based on my experience, a lot of people looking to buy a Mac are not experts themselves. They'll probably make assumptions about your knowledge based on your attitude, since that will be what they have to go on. So, if you do your best to act like you know everything they expect you to know, they'll usually believe you.
In general, just turn on the charm, which should not be hard for you. Lots of smiles!
Good luck!

Hope you're still well, friend.

The majority of people who are going to walk in and want to buy something at an Apple Store are going to be one of two types: 1) Ooo, iPod, or 2) tell me about this MacBook/iMac thing?
You don't need to know how much L2 cache a MacBook has vis-a-vis a MacBook Pro for these people. You have ubernerds at your store for that.
you know who
