That's okay, I know when someone is going to win the power ball. I don't know what state, or what the winning numbers are (ha!), but the day of the drawing, my left hand will start itching like crazy. I'll look at Meghan and tell her that someone is going to win that night, and someone does. The size of the jackpot does not matter, it could be the $15 million that it resets to after a jackpot win the drawing before and I'll still know. I've been right for the last several years now. That's the least of my ability though, I routinely get things popping into my head.

I had a dream once that was fairly closely related to actual events that happened near the time of the dream (the same night, though maybe not the same hour), halfway across the country, and I didn't find out they really happened until two weeks later. That was kinda strange. Only happened to me once. Unfortunately, it involved the (very unexpected) death of a friend when I was in grade school. My grandfather claims to have had a couple of 'visions' that were also oddly timed. Apparently that kind of thing does sometimes happen. I'm not aware of any reasonable explanation for it. All the evidence I'm aware of suggests influence from some part(s) of reality that we ordinarily can't detect and can't interface with. I'm crazy, right?

Hey, haven't we talked about this before? ;) Just kidding. Seriously, though, I've had several instances of just suddenly thinking of someone out of the blue, and I almost always see that person within 72 hours. The strangest case of that was a missionary friend of mine who was in Puerto Rico, and I hadn't seen (or even really thought about) him or his family in several years, and one day out of nowhere I started thinking about him and wondered how he was doing. The next morning, my dad called me and asked if I wanted to go eat lunch with them, because our friends had come into town! Crazy stuff.

(Oddly enough, I think we really HAVE talked about this before.)

Personally I would have named it "Bummer." Primarily due to its inevitable fate with either tartar sauce, or cat food.
