Chrno: Alright... now where is Duncan's bedroom?
Elwyn: I can help you with that if you’d wish, Chrno son of Vincent, or perhaps I can clear up some information you have received that has led you here.
Chrno: How did you…
Elwyn: Some of us know more than we lead, shall we?
Chrno: Alright.

Chrno: So who are you to Duncan?
Elwyn: His shadow at the moment.
Chrno: Shadow?
Elwyn: What exactly do you know about Duncan?
Chrno: Aside from he’s an Elf and I just found out from my father that he's married to Eden… not a lot.
Elwyn: Ah, what do you know about this world? I’m sure your father has told you many truths.
Chrno: About the nine realms?
Elwyn: Correct, thankfully that makes talking a little easier. Duncan is special as are his siblings.
Chrno: Duncan has brothers? I didn’t see that one coming.
Elwyn: Actually sisters, well that’s not really right either. Chase… has gender issues.
Chrno: Uh…
Elwyn: My King is Duncan’s brother-in-law, married to Chase. My King’s brother is married to Faya, Chase’s twin, Duncan’s sister.
Chrno: Wow… My brain just exploded.
Elwyn: The best I can figure is my King and you’re father designed for you to know this information. That’s why you found this place.
Chrno: What do you mean find this place?
Elwyn: We’re not exactly in the normal plane of things right now. Duncan has been asked to make a choice. Granted he cannot talk about it at this time, it dwells in his mind that’s why he seems distant.
Chrno: A choice, what kind of choice?
Elwyn: One that will change his life, he has been offered something of great value.
Chrno: Will it interfere with his relationship with Eden?
Elwyn: It will define who they are. Eden is special in his own right.
Chrno: I know.
Elwyn: I know you know that’s why you are so over protective of him. Do you know who his father is?
Chrno: I have an idea but Vincent won’t tell me.
Elwyn: For a good reason. There are deals riding on this choice of Duncan’s. Eden is a part of Duncan the two of them can’t be separated. Eden’s father is banking on this as is your father.
Chrno: And why are you telling me this?
Elwyn: You’re a part of this.
Chrno: I don’t want…
Elwyn: I am sorry, but you have been involved for quite some time.
Chrno: This is the first time I’ve heard a lot of this information.
Elwyn: I’m sure, but think about this… the party you went to, the one where Eden met Duncan that was no mere chance. Someone set that up. Everything happens for a reason.
Chrno: You’re saying that someone set up for Duncan and Eden to be together?
Elwyn: Yes.
Chrno: You are tampering with the threads of fate…
Elwyn: Not quite, shifting the threads so it corrects itself. Duncan and Eden’s threads had been moved by whom we don’t know. But it’s been corrected so everything worked out.
Chrno: So, you’re like the fate police?
Elwyn: *giggle* No. Chrno I have a question. Have you ever ridden a dragon?
Chrno: No I haven’t had the privilege, dragons are majestic beings.
Elwyn: Hmm...
Chrno: That's not really what we were talking about before though...
Elwyn: You’re astute.
Chrno: Why do you...?
Elwyn: Would you like the privilege?
Chrno: Of…?
Elwyn: You silly boy. I’m a dragon.
Chrno: Oh...
Elwyn: Just. Say. Yes.
Chrno: Yes.
