Looks like a fab time and the weather looks much better too, I love reading your posts :) We have lots of old and musty castles nothing like the amazing German fairy tale castles though. What I must ask though is what on earth is a geocache? total and utter mystery, I am surprised the lady at the castle knew what you were asking for.
Oh yes, I really did have a great time, it never gets boring, and there's still so much to discover. ;)
As for the geocaching... that's my new hobby, well, kinda new... I'm doing this since the beginning of this year. It's something to keep me on my feet, and not to loaf on my sofa the whole weekend. *lol* It's a bit complicated to explain, so I'll have a link for you, where you can read everything there's to know about geocaching: https://www.geocaching.com/guide/ It's real fun! :D
So you chose the places based on the geocaching? Very pretty. Loved the old ruins and the Arthur pub. Had to smile about the danger sign. In the States, they'd have barriers up and all kinds of warning and people yelling at you to get away from the edge. :P
No, not exactly. ;) I looked for places with something special, like old castles etc., and then I looked for potential geocaches. But because of those caches I found even more things I hadn't seen otherwise. ;)
