It's been quite a year.

Apologies to my international friends. I casted a vote for the opposing party. But the 45th gamed the system and got the e-turd vote to claim the electoral college. So they practically threw my vote away, just the same.

I made a proposal for some fundage to go to a professional conference. It's been approved. So this coming July I'll be going to Orlando. Some time in the sun, I hoped to shake hands with Mickey Mouse, or Harry Potter. The last couple weeks are tiring; I practically cut myself from social media from the toxic environment of Twitter, facebook and such as it wasn't healthy. In the interim I resigned to limit myself to watching the CBS Morning News before I head to work and then once I get home, the Channel 2 news at Ten. Happy New Year!

I had a big post, but in summary, good things happened; bad things happened. But I'm still alive.

Got paid with the new pay grade. It fit within the lower end of my estimate but pretty notable. Got my rent paid; new shoes I deperately needed; and had the nice dinner I wanted (I posted a photo at my personal website, foxtaur.us); and a new alternator for my minivan.
