I'm seriously considering changing my screename. Maybe not on AIM for now, but on lj. Can I do that without messing everything up? Will everything stay the same with all of my friends lists and stuff? Anyone know

My friend changed her screenname, but I think she had to pay to do it. Not sure how much it was, I can ask her if you like, but since then it's been made possible to set up a lj without a code anyway, so that might not be the same anymore. Sorry, that's really no help to you at all, is it? Hope you get it all sorted though. I like the sound of your new screennames, they seem to have a nice ring to them. Love, Sarah Jane xxx
Thank you! My nickname is Bre, and all my really close friends and family call me Bre Bre. So I thought it was kind of a neat idea. I think I'll go for it. I just don't want to start posting to people again and have them go, who the heck are you? Lol.
I read somewhere that lj identifies you by your code, not you username. So it might be easier than I thought. *shrugs*
Yes, I know that when my friend changed her name, she was automatically added to everyone's friends lists and everything stayed the same for her except her name. Just not sure how much it cost her! Hope you get it all sorted out :) Loads of love xxx
Heard that the names that I was interested in using are already taken. I REALLY want to change it, but I don't think it is quite worth it. Now I can't decide what to do!
She's a pretty longhaired dark Persian that can see "ghosts." (They're really not ghosts but servitors.) http://www.livejournal.com/rename/ says that you have to pay $15 to change your username, but you could just make a new journal. It looks like brebre, bre, and brie are all taken, but you could put a number or something else in it. Like, there's no "breskate."

Sounds like a really neat cat though. Really beautiful and mysterious.
