I know everyone must be tired of hearing about my practices, but its really the only really happy thing I have to write about right now

Being that you're from England, could you answer me this:
How "americanized" is everything over there? Do you guys have McDonalds and things like that? American brand name clothes? Also, are American movies regularly played at the cinemas there? I've never been anywhere but to Canada, so I'm not sure what to expect when I head over seas someday.
...........................................................................................................................................................*sniffle* I didn't put my location on my info page for a reason. I live in Texas (unfortunatley...but I tend to love foreign places) . *cries hysterically* NOT BECAUSE I WANT TO! I WANT TO LIVE IN EUROPE MORE THAN ANYTHING.....sorry I can't answer your question. I like talking to people in different countries and locations through my journal......*whimper* sowwy.....I wish I knew the answer to those questions. I've wondered that myself....
But I do know that they have McDonalds! I went to one there when my family was in London on vacation. And I did some Americanized clothing. But from what I could tell, they were a little bit ahead of us in the fashion world. Some of things I saw there I didn't see back in the states for a few months or so. : )
Glad to hear those movies were good. I wanted to see Second Hand Lions but the title annoyed me. I know it's clever, but it's annoyingly so. :P It looks like a cute movie though.
Second Hand Lions is a really great film. Everything fits just right! How do you find the title annoying. *shrugs* That never even occurred to my before....
Dad and I agree that we really need to try fishing the way they do! It would definitely end our fish loosing streak! Lol.
No real reason, just that it doesn't make a lot of sense. I'm weird that way. Could someone really own a lion (wild, vicious animal), then resell it? I'm getting a vision of a lion garage sale with a big cat in a little cage marked 25 cents. :D
Lol. The title has a meaning. My take off of it was that the boy's uncles were being compared to lions because they both has such courageous hearts and noble character but were missing the whole paws, claws and fury mane thing. But hey, see the movie and tell me what your take on it is. ; )
