Hmm: all these pictures of Officer Ben are showing up (and by the way--yum) but here I am, still with an AU season 1 Ryan Atwood. Plus, I still have so many WIPs to finish and what am I writing? Right this. Ah well.

This story has my heart in a tight grip through every single word. I'm so scared for Ryan. Caleb clearly went to great lengths to let him disappear and that so called doctor is evil.
Please, please, please Lucy - give Ryan the benefit of the doubt and at least check his version of the story.
Just one phonecall to Sandy, pretty please.

Let me rephrase that:
Just one phonecall to Sandy, who actually answers himself and acts as the "Super Sandy to the rescue" I demand him to be.
And that evil doctor better stay far away from Ryan with his test-ideas.
As much as I love the h/c, I need a happy end and that includes no permanent physical or mental damage to the Woobie. *sigh*

Great concept; such plausible S1 Cal. Your nurse Lucy is an intriguing and believable character, her interactions with Ryan giving us a glimmer of hope, and a glimpse of Ryan's inner turmoil. Thanks for this.
