That was one of the best OCSFC I read! I loved how you captured Seth's voice. How you captured the bullying, and the way a day can just go so bad. Seth's epiphany, that he can help himself without Ryan, was just great... would have been better if he had had it when Ryan left Newport, no? Thanks for the entertainment!

It was an attempt at drama, but I think the writers could have done a better job of it.... Though, Seth's leaving bothered me less than Ryan's leaving. Too many holes in reality. Like the fact that Ryan was a minor and not likely to be emancipated, because he was on probation, supposedly.

I guess I'm officially working backwards to the ones I haven't read- or maybe just a circuitous route at this point.

You definitely have Seth's voice down, from his most obnoxious and self-absorbed self, to his rambling introspections that filter outward. Actually, you're channeling him enough that it scares me.

Love the way you set the scene at Casa Cohen. For once neither parent was buying what Seth was selling. The cast of Harbor characters was also out in full force, with all playing their respective roles to the hilt. If only Dr. Kim had joined him for lunch...

Poor Ryan always seems to bear the brunt, but in this case, there was a silver lining. He was spared a day without "Seth duty" either at the house or Harbor, and he actually got- and will get- some attention on the homefront for days... plural. Imagine Seth being the one more invisible in that whole dynamic for a change? Satan skating by!

Thanks for a fun read- and some much-needed lessons for Seth in karma, justice, and self-reliance.
