Sigh. It seems I have this compulsion to post at least one fic update a month no matter how pitiful that story/chapter might be. So, since it's almost December, here's the next bit of "Best Forgotten." I wish I could do better for those of you still reading OC fic, but this is all I could manage.

I love this story! But someone... Lucy, Sandy, anybody!! has to do something before they take Ryan into surgery!

*shudders* Perhaps I should've taken a page from 60schic's book and not decided to ketchup before bed....one chp. to go, and who knows how you'll leave this....

But- damn good fic. I like your Lucy very much, challenging the system as much as she can in a society where doctors and nurses are much more in a 'master/servant' than 'coworker' relationship. Charlie is just- cool! Not that I favor strong, competent female characters...LOL.

You continue to portray Ryan's despair in a visceral way.
