Best Forgotten, a fic for Brandy (pt. 12 of ?)

Feb 28, 2010 12:02

We had a snow day on Friday. Yay! It was called late, after I'd already gotten up, exercised, showered, and dressed for work and of course I did have to spend several hours of my surprise free day shoveling (our driveway had to be cleared four times, taxing even my enthusiasm, and I rather like shoveling.) Still, I got to spend a chunk of the ( Read more... )

Um . . . definitely no update tomorrow! But I'll try not to keep you waiting long. (If it's any consolation, I already have some of the next chapter written.)

Anyway, thanks for reading and responding.

I'm glad you got a snow day.

You're really a horrible tease, with cryptic notes that spell it all out- albeit in shorthand, having Kirsten grow one vertebrate in hopes of an eventual spine, Sandy learning basic math combined with geography, and Seth almost learning to use a filter and his ears (and thinking about someone other than himself for 2 minutes straight). Lucy even had a Net connection. Then, the cruel blow. Only a tsunami, earthquake, or hurricane (I forgot what month it is) might buy poor Ryan some time now, although I fear it's all up to him and Lucy. If you wait another month, you'll surpass heartless.

Horrible tease? Surpass heartless? beach, I don't know whether to be flattered or insulted!

Be flattered, of course, but also inspired and kind (to us and Ryan). Spare no cruelty when it comes to Caleb (the smug shall suffer) and Dr. Killer. Keller? No, not Killer- not really.

If Lucy comes through (and she'd better), she deserves to be the one to set Killer/Keller adrift on his own Viking funeral flotilla or signing the papers to have him locked away sporting a lovely straight jacket. Then she can take a much-needed spa vacation and rethink her career plans. Ryan and Sandy can have dibbs on Caleb with Charlie's help.

Thanks, fred. I'm glad you liked the pace. I think it turned out so fast because I was rushing to finish before March!

Are you trying to kill me here?
I'm sure you are. Because this - is not funny anymore.
And please tell me we don't have to wait another month to find ou more. That's cruel and evil.

kat, really! Would I try to kill you? I'm just writing what my muse dictates. Blame her sick addiction to suspense. But I'll try to make her rush the next chapter. Will that help?

So many pieces coming together, but now Ryan's gone? And the procedure sounds like it's going full steam ahead. Yikes!!

Loved the new chapter, thanks for posting!
