Yes, it's that time again. The end of the month, and time for another installment of this apparently endless melodrama. Let me start with an apology. very tense, Chaz, thank you for the update
I really liked Seth here, so earnest in his desire to find Ryan

As for Seth: well, I'm choosing to emphasize early season 1 unselfish, good-friend Seth here. Also the honor student one (although I suspect he took French; Harbor strikes me as a school that considered Spanish the language of menial workers and would not even offer it.

Like I said, VERY early S1 Seth was less insufferable, although the self-centered, uber-obnoxious traits were in place by Mexico- okay, Thanksgiving and his motives were always questionable, or multi-faceted in terms of his own happiness. Still, who knew he could get so much worse? Ouch! But I digress... I don't think we ever saw him crack a book that was a comic book, something that always bothered me. Summer took French, so I'm guessing he would have clamored to do the same (and scoffed at Spanish!).
Still, what's saddest, and cause for the greatest concern is the very fragile connection, emotional and legal (when it comes to practicalities, especially) between Ryan and the Cohens. It's even worse outside of Newport- and the U.S. Everything they haven't done since Ryan arrived for however long takes on a new significance now.
Hello, Lucy? You there? See the wire?
