Part 19? What is this, the nightmare that never ends? Apparently. Anyway, here it is the end of the month again (minus a day; hey, I'm early!) And here's the latest dose of melodrama.

As always remember: The story is wildly AU and the main characters? So not mine!

Yes, it is a nightmare. It's a nightmare of the worst kind for Ryan and it's extending its ripple effect beyond him, the clinic/snorkeling shop/Cozumel, Mexico, and to our 'puters.

As for cruel, there are new levels here. Caleb and Dr. Killer have no humanity, so I hope karma has the best GPS and justice combo. Then you have "M" making her presence known. Painful!

Assessing blame? There's plenty to go around, but Caleb is definitely at the top, and let's see if Kirsten is ready to shoulder some of the load for her passive 'tude with Daddy Dear.

Poor Lucy for being the one trying so hard. Poor, poor, poor Ryan- but he's fighting. Poor us!

Good for you for being early, and in a shorter month! Impressive. Thanks.

You're welcome. But now let's see how I'll do in a longer month when I'm not entirely sure where this story should go next. Guess I'll just have to start writing and find out!

I couldn't believe I was first to comment, btw. I'm never first at... much of anything.

No Halloween evil on top of the cruel evil for the end of October. I hope the story doesn't go anywhere that has Ryan food for fishes or an extra in a remake of "Planet of the Apes," and I don't mean wearing an ape suit if you catch my drift.

I'm glad you're enjoying, especially because this story has become such a looooong melodrama!

Caleb has become evil incarnate hasn't he? I'm not sure how that happened, and I'm really not sure how to deal with him when (if?) the Cohens find out everything he's done

I like the fight fire with fire approach of the Cohens, forging papers to smackdown Caleb and his cronies.

Btw, if that smackdown was literal, that would be awesome :)

Silver! Lovely to hear from you. And I'll think about that literal smackdown. After all, we know Sandy can throw a punch and Kirsten can throw a vase, so . . . :) (Of course I'm not sure what Seth can throw. A sarcastic comment?)

Yo! Seriously, I like this story. Yes, it's melodrama, but so what?! It's fun, well-written melodrama, so you've got my vote :)

Seth would use his wiles and wisdom to plot the escape. Got to have an escpae route.
