I see the mean Halloween spirits have gotten their claws into you. That was very cruel of you to tease us with the possibility of a phone call. However, I do LOVE knowing that it does mean the story will go on for at least a little while longer. I don't know what I would do without my monthly angst fix.

My angst come from writing it! The end of the month approaches and I start thinking "Eep! I need to get this done!" But I'm very glad that you're enjoying the story. (Only if this is your fix, does that make me your pusher?)

At first I was admiring your awesome author brain for thinking of the perfect way for Lucy to get the doctor to listen to her. Yes! Appeal to his professional pride. Make him listen.

And then I was not so happy with your awesome author brain for thinking of that perfect cliffhanger. ;-)

Thank you, especially for admiring the strategy Lucy used to get Dr. Keller to listen to her (at least until Caleb interrupted.) It did take a while to come up with that plan for her!

OMG - now I know for sure that you're trying to kill me. I'm so tensed up that I can`'t even tell you how much I enjoyed the little Seth moments and movements here, or how dead on you have the Magnificent Bastard's voice down.

I can only hope that since your next deadline will be around Thanksgiving, you'll toss us a positive bone (drumstick, please) and let the Cohens find him...........
