I'm trying to hard to finish this story but it's coming in dribs and drabs now (mostly drabs.) In any case, here's January's installment for anybody still interested.
Disclaimer: You know, the standard stuff. Characters (well, the central ones) still not mine, errors (well, all of them) still mine alone.

I like Seth's argument, how Ryan is so far from himself he doesn't know what he is doing
Lucy watched for a welcome wash of relief to clear his face, but none did. The shadows clouding it simply changed, from bleached gray to the shade of abandoned ash. sad content, but lovely flow of words
Lucy is clever, appealing to Ryan to help Kirsten, clever to be completely truthful, clever to see the similarities that go beyond the chance physical resemblance
I just remembered the date and came to look and yay, you'd posted, many thanks x

Anyway thank you so much for "eloquent and descriptive prose"--such a lovely compliment! I'll try to live up to it in the next chapter. (February though--a short month! Must get to work . . .)

(They wafted over Ryan, warm and lilting, softly compelling and confident.) I did the same as fred and came to check it out. The lines I've bracketed are heart wringing and beautiful. They are a testament to a wonderful fic!!
