My return after about 19 years away
So a big thank you to LiveJournal for the most random email but one that has turned out to be a pretty interesting and good thing! I did not realize I still had this account which is now 21 years old holy crap! All that said of course much has happened since my last post, I mean after all over 19 years has passed since that post in 2006... Ill keep the post briefly by doing the catch up Bullet point style. I do wanna say I'm not sure how long I may keep up with this, hell maybe it'll be a good excape from Facebook and TikTok.
- In 2006 shortly after I did in fact move to Oxford, NY to live with such close friends that actually and truly have become family. I joined their native drum group and traveled with them, becoming a part of their community and and their ways of life became my own.
- In 2007 I met a woman my age and we hit it off, we dated and then became quite serious
- In 2008 my son was born, and while the romantic relationship did not last we were able to be civil and cohabitate for awhile so that he had both parents to raise and care for him. The same year he was born I was diagnosed with bilateral hearing loss and obtained my first pair of hearing aids.
- In 2014 I could no longer take the horrid working conditions at Walmart and was able to apply for a job with a company named Wegmans. Having to return to Eastern Massachusetts for the job. I got the job and was hired Full-time from the start.
-In late summer of 2018 I moved back to there Sherburne, NY area as cost of living was more affordable for my full-time wages than in Eastern Massachusetts where being close to Boston made shit expensive!
-In 2021 I was able to get my own USDA home loan and bought a house in Oxford, NY. I guess you can call that full circle lol.
In between the years my hearing would get worse and result in me going deaf completely in my right ear while still being hard of hearing in the left ear, that basically means I'm more deaf than hearing. I can use ASL fluently enough to communicate with most folks that know it but I am by no means grammatically correct lol. Oh and I guess I gotta keep the trend and let y'all know that I am in fact single and have been for at least 10 years, I focused more on making sure things for my son were taken care of and such,ya know being a responsible adult. While I have no clue if any of my old friends I have on here will see this I'll still wish you all well and to take care until we chat again!! 🤟 Oh and if you do comment my friends, please for the love of all that is good sign that shit!
