I went to Northbrook Court today to experience the Christmas shopping extravaganza (the community choir was there) and I was reminded of all the bad parts of my childhood: shopping in department stores with mother. if youre not in cancun...or burning down the house and instead, are craving some jesus-filled church-going, you can come chill with some lutherans in riverwoods. unless i am mistaken we'll be attending a delicious candlelit midnight service and the congregation may even be serenaded by my father's lovely trumpeting.
