So I got my awards from Bard and UCSC today, and they would both cost around the same as NYU, about 20,000-25,000 a year. And it makes me so upset that the schools I actually WANT TO GO TO give me shit for aid, and the schools I don't want to go to are giving me a ton. So basically I'm probably going to Skidmore. Which is fine, but after realizing

my best friend since like... in utero is at Skidmore. you two should hook up. he's jewish and crazy.
he ended up going to skidmore because he didn't get enough financial aid from Bard either (which was his first choice) but he says it's acutally not that bad.
