i made lentil soup last night too but the husband wanted curry so i used indian curry and masala spices and i added chopped peppers and a bag of frozen soup veggies. i love lentils, they can be so versatile!

I agree. Probably one of my favorite foods, by far. And YUMM I love any spice that's vaguely Indian. Haha

I do something really similar but I deglaze the pot with a good pour of dry sherry and let the alcohol boil off before adding the stock and lentils. mmm...
