I'd love to read the follow-up. It's not that I dislike angst, but I'm way too invested in Bones and Jim's relationship and get heartbroken when it's not a happy resolution at the end...

Awww.... I was so hoping it was Bones for a change who got the dig in.... I have no doubt about this scenario, however - Jim will realize how much he cares... it's 'illogical' for him not to!

i'm writing a fic at the moment where jim is on the heartbroken side, so i couldn't do it to him twice in one day. but it is totally illogical, and they'll be fiiiiine. :)
