When I was about 13 or 14, I bought a CD at a Goodwill for $1. That CD was a scratched up copy of Surfer Rosa by the Pixies. I didn't like it when I first listened to it, but I listened to it again... then again... and again... and then I liked it. I listened to it more, and soon enough, I loved it. Immensely

hi, i googled something about david yow and stumbled upon your journal. i saw the pixies and the jesus lizard, too. jesus lizard being the greatest and most memorable show i've ever been to. your friend wouldn't happen to be kaylastarkiller would it?

because that would be really funny. i met her on lastfm and she was really excited for me when i was seeing the jesus lizard and told me yow screamed in her ear.

anyway. it doesn't seem like you use this much but i wanted to add you anyway.
