I promised
kyaanchan this post, even though I'm a few hours late. So.
Last week was Valentine's Day, and while searching through various cooking/recipe websites, the urge came over me to bake
these. ARE THEY NOT ABSOLUTELY ADORABLE?
I figured, hey, it's Valentine's tomorrow (this was on Sunday), so I might as well bake something for my friends. It was my first time baking anything from scratch, so it didn't turn out nearly as well as the ones on the recipe website did, but I'm still fairly proud of mine. I would've sent some to
kyaanchan, as I told her, but I was afraid they'd go bad/be completely crushed in the mail. So instead, I'm posting pictures of them for her. :) (Btw, sorry for the horrible image quality. I took the photos at around 1-2 am, as I was finishing up the last batches)
Of course, I had to do something a little special for Jenn. She had a pretty small/simple request, but I wanted to do something more. She said she just wanted a simple jar, but I went past that and decorated it and filled it with candy.
Here's the bag filled with all the stuff I was going to hand out at school the next day.
In other news, a few weeks ago, my family took in another dog. He's one of the sweetest and most well-trained dogs I've ever seen. After coming home from OCAD one day, I just saw him hanging around the house. He has a tag, but the number on it just led to the city animal control. My brother and I called it, but no one ever answered. Since it's been raining for a few days, and Charlie (one of my other dogs) feels threatened by him, my parents let him sleep in my room for a few days. Isn't he cute? C: We named him Charm.
Aaaaand, finally, on the 14th, while in French class, Jenn wrote me a definition of love, which she handed to me the next day. I kept it in the cover of my calculator and read it all day to cheer me up throughout all my classes. And it ended up prompting me to write
this for her, most of which I had to compose as a text on my phone since I wasn't home basically all day. And now, she has a new routine/habit of writing me a new definition of love on a post-it for each day.
