CSA Week 3: June 30, 2010 and Warm Chickpea Arugula Salad

No picture this week. It was rainy and windy and I got home soaking wet. I was in no mood for photos.

Here is the list:

- Lettuce
- Radishes
- Bok choy
- Beets
- Zuchinis
- Brocolis
- Swiss chard
- Garlic scapes
- Kohlrabi
- Snap peas

What I do have is an amazing recipe from last week when I had arugula I didn't know

mmmm, this sounds GOOD! And so beautiful!!

It's so delicious! I would probably chop the arugula a bit more next time though. And it would probably be really good with spinach or other greens that don't need much cooking too.

I'm so happy to have a standby for when I get the smart idea to buy a bin plastic bin of arugula at the supermarket, only to find there's only so much arugula I can add to salads before I get sick of it. This totally changes the flavor.

arugala is one of my faves!

other than salads, I like to add it to pasta and use it on grilled cheese sandwiches :)

not that you asked, but I am very passionate about arugala!
