DEVIT AND HARUKI, ALSO LET'S PLAY MOAR

So Haruki's first impression of Devit was pretty horrible. He was annoyed that Devit didn't take the game seriously, that he was voting haphazardly instead of listening to what people had to say and pooling their efforts! But it turned out that Devit is smarter than he looks and Haruki could accede that he had made a mistake. Haruki is unflappably and brutally honest. If he sees something he dislikes, he would say so and when he's wrong, he'll admit it quite coolly. He's quite willing to learn more about Devit but at the same time he'd wish Devit would tone down the language :/

Has Devit's impressions on Tokage changed?

SEE YOU SHOULD ALWAYS LISTEN TO ME, PRISSY! We totally need to play with them more because man it could be a blast. Haruki is the rare type Devit could get attached to. :'D

AS FOR TOKAGE--the conversation where she said she liked him confused and irritated him. It was interesting for him too, because he likes talking to people about things like Gods and immortality and killing and all that; it felt to him like the first time they'd had a "real" conversation, and he enjoyed it, even though she pissed him off (especially in mentioning Hakuren dying). Devit does not believe she actually likes him, though. He felt like she missed the point when she went into "people here don't care what you are," because Devit realizes that much, but he still is not over the hurdle of people not caring who he is. At his core, Devit believes that he's a very unlikeable person, and that the friendships he has are flukes and/or the result of the other person being fucked up in some way. He doesn't see why Tokage would "like" him beyond him being fun ( ... )

Yeah, that's what I thought so too! Will definitely thread with Devit more.

Tokage is very lax about her likes and dislikes, but she's also very flippant about them. She likes someone so there!!! Or dislikes someone so there!! She does this on purpose because it saves her the trouble of being truly attached or thinking too deeply about her own feelings, because the more she feels, the more she binds herself to mortality and the pain that follows that! But she really thinks Devit is cute and superbly dense. She can also see that Devit is not ...the most secure person, from the way he was possessive about Hakuren. So she decided to be upfront about how she saw Devit and added a few words of wisdom of her own. I don't think she expected him to believe her, but she feels better than she said it anyway. She will continue to poke him and Hakuren >) funny boyfriends!

I can't tell if that made sense. ANYWAY, how does Devit feel towards the rest of the Noahs?

Mitchell's thoughts on Stefan!

Main character from Hustle as in the guy who played Herrick in the pilot? XD

Mitchell's getting huge culture shock from Stefan, probably actually worse than from anyone else so far mostly because he was completely thrown off by Stefan not being able to sense him. He feels pretty sorry for him and thinks he must be really lonely considering how hard it is for Mitchell to live outside of the welcoming arms of his vampire community. Aside from the whole SO DIFFERENT AND WEIRD thing he does like chatting to Stefan in general, he likes his sense of humour! He wants to hang out with him more.

Reverse :D

YES THAT DUDE.

Stefan can't believe anyone can abstain from blood! Technically vampires that abstain from blood for a long time actually starve to the point of being mummified. Yet, Mitchell is doing just fine and Stefan's... a little jealous of that because he still has to feed on animals to survive! The idea of vampire communities and wanting to be one of them is fairly repulsive to Stefan, who wants to be human more than anything else.

Anything you want from S3?

Haruki's impressions on Klavier.

Reply

checkking July 5 2010, 12:11:26 UTC
Haruki likes Klavier! But Klavier is very... normal while Haruki is not. Haruki has been through killgames and plots, changing his perceptions on everything. And for a moment, Haruki realized that he will never be normal, never be able to think normally like most people do! And it ... really upset him! So he might avoid Klavier for a while because he feels bad and he doesn't want Klavier to get any of his ideas.

Reverse!

Klavier thinks Haruki is a decent kid, if a bit stiff. He does still remind him a bit of Kristoph, because Kristoph is pretty stiff too. But he doesn't extend the comparison any further than that. That conversation isn't something he holds against Haruki or thinks less of him for, it's just a very hair-trigger subject for Klavier and while he thought he'd be fine discussing it... CLEARLY HE WAS NOT. So fail happened. It takes a lot more than that to put Klavier off a person so he won't avoid Haruki, though he won't actively seek him out.

Which one of your characters would be most appropriate to be a Mary Sue Tenth Member of the Fellowship? Frodo is banned for obvious reasons.

Merlin. He could be Gandalf's apprentice and Aragorn's servant and his father could be an Elf. MADE FOR SUEDOM.

Does Klavier think of Kristoph often?

BOROMIR. I mean, I want every single person but Boromir would have the most interesting CR with the cast if he came to camp.

Which one of my canons have you been curious about?

Oz is actually doing pretty well for himself! He has a boyfriend (Doumeki) who actually reciprocated his feelings, and supports him and doesn't think he's weird so it's a very new and wonderful experience for him and it's helping his terrible self-confidence! On the other hand, Oz suspects (or is sure) that Elliot also has feelings for him which worries him because that wasn't supposed to happen. Elliot is better than Oz! Elliot is Oz's first friend! Oz doesn't know what will happen to that now! And he doesn't want to lose Elliot ever.

Also, Vincent seems to be on the down-low and not making Oz miserable, so generally OZ IS FEELINGS PRETTY GOOD save for the Elliot thing.

Do you have a type? If so, what is it?

I'M LATE BUT LOVE ME.

How is Kirk coping with that bet?

Reply

checkking July 5 2010, 14:33:39 UTC
Pretty bad! He keeps blurring the old Kirk into his life and it's getting harder for him to distinguish which one is more real. Which makes it harder on his self-confidence when he starts feeling that he's accomplished nothing at all.

Spock's thoughts on Kirk's current state!
