I haven't read the bill yet, but let me ask you this. Are you opposed to the Social Security system as well? (Leave aside the results of Johnsons institution of the Integrated Budget that has devastated the SS system. I'm only asking about the system itself.)

Oh, and sometimes I'm a schmuck. I belated happy birthday. I'm glad it seems like it was a good one.

Oh no, let's be sure to be clear on one thing. I'm not against the concept itself. Same for Social Security. I am against how it is being executed and implimented.

Socialized medicine done right is great, for sure, but this particular bill has many seedy sections. So, the system and idea thereof I am not against, since in theory, it would help even out healthcare costs and lead to a healtheir more advanced society. It's this bill's structure. Hope that answers the question.

Socialized medicine IN THEORY is a good thing. But there has never been a real-world system that has worked. England has HUGE waiting lists with patients dying before they get help. Australia's system got so bad that doctors stopped doing the government paperwork to get paid and have patients pay cash and ask the government to get repaid.

I tend to agree with Jason on this one... its all about the implementation, not the idea itself.

Social Security began as a program that was beneficial, now its has become a joke.
