I love having my teeth cleaned. They always gush over my minimal gum recession and the fact that I've never had braces, and then when they find out that I use a sonicare and have flossed religiously since I was ten, they practically fall at my feet. Sometimes I download NPR stories while I eat breakfast, and my computer puts them in Media Player with the visualizer.  It's so ridiculous. I feel like I'm getting baked to public radio.

"Heidi, I'm going to take that sidekick and like, throw it in my Mojito!"

At work on Friday I got a terrifying assignment: Dennis (who is scary and also one of the partners) asked me to cut out the lettering for a silkscreen stencil.  I guess we're printing in-house on this project because it's kind of an unsolicited "friend" thing, which means it can be shunted off to me.
