If there is one thing Hyunseung is an expert in, that would be moving on. Yes, he is a dancing machine, but everyone who knows him well would definitely choose his moving on skills over dancing at any cost. The boy can move on so easily and so fast like a boss; it makes anyone anxious. Everyone thought it was all because of the rough times the quiet boy had gone through, that it was his way to cope and continue with his life.
But now, Junhyung was not so sure anymore. Hyunseung just seemed not to care.
After he broke up with the older boy, Junhyung had been restless, his nights became sleepless, and the dark circles under his eyes were getting bigger by the day. And watching Hyunseung now getting all sweet and chummy with their leader would surely fertilize his dark circles later tonight. Now that he thought of it, Junhyung could not imagine how stupid he was for not anticipating Hyunseung moving on so easily. Instead, he expected the older boy to throw longing looks at him, bribe him to get him back, or even seduce him out of his wits. But it wasn’t happening. He was starting to believe what Doojoon never fails to tell him: You babo.
A nudge on his side woke him from his reverie. He must have been glaring too hard at Doojoon and Hyunseung.
“Babo. You break his heart and now you wanna break your neck, too.” Yoseob muttered softly with a chuckle.
Junhyung realized he had enough of that word today. The fact that he has patience with the length of a thumb did not really do much in stopping him from grabbing the younger boy by the collar and pin him to the wall. He just could not contain his frustration anymore, and he did not care if it shows through his eyes, now glaring at the immediately silent boy.
Then everything happened real fast. The rapper felt his back hit a solid object, most probably a wall, and a strong arm against his collar bone. Their leader looked at him with piercing eyes and fired, “What’s wrong with you?”
Junhyung felt his anger flaring back to life when he faced Doojoon. “What’s wrong with YOU!” He fired back.
He could feel the tension rising insider their living room, but that did not really matter to him. All Junhyung cared about was that doe-eyed boy now looking at him with a deep frown etched on that perfect face. He almost felt guilty.
“You pin an innocent person to a wall and you ask what's wrong with me?”
“It’s none of your fucking business, almighty leader!”
“Stop.” It was so soft, a whisper.
“It’s everybody’s goddamn business, you asshole!”
“And you’re not an asshole when you poke your nose at everybody’s business?!”
“Please stop.” The whisper again, now louder.
“No! You know why? Because an ass like you can’t even handle your own business!”
“Who the fuck are you calling a-“
“YOU TWO JUST FUCKING STOP IT!”
The room fell silent at once. The only audible thing now was Hyunseung’s breathing, unsteady because of screaming ten times more intense than his usual shout. Everybody’s eyes were on the dancer, gawking at him with surprise, some even accompanied by open mouths.
But Junhyung probably had the biggest open mouth at that moment. His emotions were all mixed up inside him; he felt his anger fading and being replaced with an unsettling feeling of nervousness. The rapper could bet his life every being inside the living room right now would be nervous as shit like him.
Because Hyunseung doesn’t swear.
Put Hyunseung in any terrifying, nerve-wracking, embarrassing situation and he won’t budge. The other members even made a bet behind his back one time, demanding anything they want-Junhyung demanded a month’s supply of coke, Yoseob liked ice cream, Kikwang wanted protein shake, Dongwoon wished for a day at the amusement park with Kikwang, uhm he meant with everybody because he loves them all, and Doojoon would have a new soccer ball-if ever they get to make the dancer spit out even just a syllable of one swear word. They all failed that time.
But now Hyunseung just said the “fucking” word. And it was nobody’s victory.
Junhyung looked at Hyunseung’s clenched fists then up at his red face. This is the first time he had seen the dancer this angry. And if his heart had legs, it would be a cripple right now.
“I’m not dealing with this,” Hyunseung said, breaking the silence, and walked out of the dorm.
Junhyung saw Doojoon’s arm leave his neck but still felt choked. He had always hated this feeling, the one he gets after doing something he did not think thoroughly through, the one that regrets everything in the end.
Everybody in the living room seemed to be suddenly drained of energy. Junhyung sat on the floor, his back to the wall. Yoseob slumped on the sofa beside Kikwang who had leaned back with closed eyes. Dongwoon just stood there, looking at all of them one by one. Doojoon, now calm and in deep thought, started pacing slowly back and forth along the length of the room.
“Hyung…” The maknae looked at Doojoon with worried eyes. Junhyung knew Dongwoon was scared to talk to him right now, so he turned to their leader instead.
“I know, I know. We must fix this,” Doojoon said firmly, still pacing.
Junhyung could tell nobody anticipated what he was about to do, but he would do it anyway. This time he thought about it so much his head now hurt from everything. It was a night of first times anyway.
“I’m sorry, guys,” the one sitting on the floor said softly but enough for everyone to hear.
Immediately, all eyes were on him. Even Doojoon stopped walking back and forth.
“Well, it was my fault, wasn’t it?” Junhyung looked down, smiling sadly at himself. “But I really don’t know what to do right now.”
The leader walked up to him and put a hand on his shoulder. “No, you know what to do. You’re just afraid of what will happen.”
“He still loves you, babo,” muttered Yoseob from the couch. “He’s gonna kill me for telling you this, but I don’t wanna see him crying his whole body and being every night anymore.”
Junhyung was not sure if he heard correctly. Hyunseung-his Hyunseung-cries because of him? Hyunseung doesn’t cry. “Wait. Wha-?”
“You’re the densest person on earth, Yong Junhyung,” Kikwang said. “All of us have seen him cry, and you haven't even noticed his grieving. And I thought I’m the stupid one here.”
Dongwoon, still nervous, finally said, “Hyung, I think you should just go and find Hyunseung hyung before-“
The maknae was not able to finish what he was about to say. Junhyung was already out the door.

He saw him standing near a tree at the deserted park near their dorm. It was already two in the morning, and the cold early morning air was slowly seeping through his hoodie. Hyunseung was only wearing a t-shirt.
Junhyung wanted to hug him, but opted to just stand beside the older boy instead. Hyunseung did not move an inch and just continued to stand on his spot, hugging himself.
Junhyung looked at Hyunseung. Hyunseung stared ahead.
“It’s all my fault,” his gaze not leaving Hyunseung.
“No, it’s not,” gaze still ahead.
“You hate me.”
“No, I don’t.”
“You don’t love me anymore.”
“No, I don’t.”
“You don’t not love me anymore?”
“You’re confusing.”
“I still love you.”
“You sound unsure.”
“I’m sorry.”
Junhyung met Hyunseung’s eyes. “For everything.” This would sound stupid but he tried all his best to put all the love he has up to his eyes so that Hyunseung would see it.
“Wait. Hey, are you crying?”
Hyunseung cupped Junhyung’s face and wiped the slowly falling tears with his thumb.
He was crying, what the fuck.
Junhyung held Hyunseung’s hands and put them around his neck. He pulled the older boy closer, rested his forehead against the other’s, and looked at Hyunseung’s eyes with all of him.
With a short “don’t go near Yoon Doojoon again,” Junhyung sealed his second chance with a kiss.
