Not only does he reside in the Canadian maritimes (which is where I live! yeah!), he is probably one of the greatest poets I've ever heard.

Oh man, I am such a sucker for loud, obnoxious music. I saw these guys live... best show of my life. A bunch of sweaty people dancing like buffoons in a small basement? Um, yes plz.

6.Winter sleep - Sore
Really mellow song. The drummer is fantastic, the singing it fantastic, it's all fantastic. Seriously, Wintersleep is one of Canada's best bands. If you haven't heard "Weighty Ghost" by them, then check it out.

I very enjoyed the 2-5 vids, although I have to disagree with the posters on the BR vid and say I think they sound a LOTTTT like Vampire Weekend (although I by no means am implying a "ripoff." They are both pretty poppy like that, is all, and I'm sure BR have been playing for longer than 4 months [i.e. approx how long VW have been famous]).
I will listen more 'morrow, must go to bed NOW. Partied too much last nite.

Oh Jobriath. I remember hearing about him quite a while ago. Maybe a year or two ago? Anyway, apparently Morrissey tried to hire him as an act on one of his tours, only to find out he'd been dead for some years.
