Okay for the recording thing, sorry I can't help you there, I'm good with computers just no that good LOL. On AOL there's a selection of sounds you can use (if you have 9.0) when you come on and stuff like that (mine's a camera click lol) and I'm sure you could do that somehow with AIM.. I don't have AIM, but I know you can't use AIM screen names with AOL, but you can do the opposite.
Oh okay that's alright. . .I'll have to look deeper into the sound recording thingy it seems. . . Hmm. . . I'll have to re-check my settings. . .so far I have it that I'm the only one who can hear "Who turned on the dark" when someone IMs me, which is a groove. . .but I also want people to hear it when I log in. That would be outasite! Oh I see. . .hmm. . . I thought it said that somewhere but looking now you are absolutely correct you can only use AOL to AIM not vice versa.
