After 3 1/2 hours putting the table together last night it is finally set up... and we let the kids eat their pancakes and bacon on it this morning for breakfast. it might take some getting used to, since it is so much longer then our other table. i cannot see into the dowstairs quite as easily (yay, no more caring if it's clean down there right?? this is the iron "stick figure" decoration i bought. the only other small girl they had had curly hair, but the baby in the diaper looked to little to use for emalyn....lol. it is hard to tell from the picture, but it is really big, and i love the way it sits on that wall, above the kitchen table. i actually used a curtain rod as the rod i hung ( Read more... )

here is the cake i made for niki for her surprise cake at playdate, cause her birthday is saturday...lol. i am sad, cause the fondant was being kind of a pain, and i could not get it smooth. it ended up a little bumpy, and me being the perfectionist that i am, am a bit upset, epsecially since people will see it! lol. oh well, i know it tastes great ( Read more... )
