I am going to be spending my January in New York City. I got an internship with a literary agency on 5th avenue. I'm pretty excited, but at the same time I'm not sure. Back from New York
At last my dream of getting to New York for a school break came true. It's a little hard to figure out exactly how I felt about New York. I can see how it can sort of grind you down when you don't have a lot of money. I stayed with friends who lived on the way southern edge of Brooklyn. I think this weekend I going to paint my room. Right now the walls are a yellow I would describe as linty-pee-on-cardboard seen through a dusty filter. It just looks kind of dirty. The Truth Is Out There
The best thing that could have ever happened to me occurred yesterday afternoon as I was driving to work. I was offered a FREE ticket to go see the new X-Files movie the day before it even opens with a group of people of the highest quality. Bounce*bounce*bounce.
