I would want nothing more than to be sitting in the middle of a boring ass archeology lecture right now. ANYTHING would be better than what I've been going thru these past few days ( Read more... )

:OOOOOO

I'm gonna pray for you, Toya, and fedEx Overnight some heavy-duty get well vibes to Florida. DAMN!

I'm glad that your out of the hospital and doing better. I'm so sorry you had to go through that mess without friends, and stay with some shit medical staff, trying to figure out if you're dying or not, I would have had a couple breakdowns before I got out of the waiting room.

For real though, people are in the hospital for reason, is it that much to ask a nurse to not have a nasty look on their face while you're dying? I get annoyed with all the bitches who get into nursing simply for a money or they can and not because they respect the profession like my mom does, because I know they'll be the first ones to be mean mugging patients. >( My mom always has a smile on her face at work, then takes out her frustrations on us at home. Lawd help us when she comes back from double-shifts.

Thank God for nurses like your mother then. Sick people need compassion man, they're in a bad place. I felt like the world was coming down on me and this lady just gave me the cold shoulder ( ... )

Dang! I'm uber glad you didn't have menigitis. Nexttime you get a temperature like that, hella get to the hospital!!!

I think that they hired bitch nurses like that for a reason. I remember a story Mrs. Comerford told once about how she had appendicitis, and the nurse was like mehhhh'and finally Mrs. Comerford bitched her ass out and got some help.

I'm glad you'reokay! ANd not dead! Is it really streP?

Man, I'm glad I ain't have menigitis too. That's nothin to fuck wit.

And I think that maybe I did have strep. The thing is, the swab test for it came back negative but the doctor was convinced that that was what it was. He said some type of throat/lung infection that could be caused by a number of different viruses. He said, "it looks so much like strep so we're gonna treat you for strep and see what happens."

You should have seen the face I gave him. I'm leaving thinking to myself, am I gonna be alive tmrw or in the next issue of Cosmopolitan under "She thought it was Strep Throat".
