Awwww, that was so adorable! I was holding off reading this one until I'd seen a little more DM, but at this point I've definitely seen enough to understand it. It was so sweet! I love how impressed Yami is by something like that--it makes sense, because he's unlikely to have ever experienced it back in Egypt, and if he had he'd probably have forgotten about it anyway--but it's still always a lovely story to see somebody else discover something that seems commonplace. It reminds me how amazing that thing really can be. And I like that Yugi's motives for sending him out were two-fold--one, giving Yami a new experience, and two, not having to deal with the snow himself. Nice work, I like this a lot. ♥

Aw thanks! I had forgotten about his one but it also took something to write, mostly because I'm not as into DM as I have been in the past. (Although I was looking at the manga today and I think I will read that, I had forgotten it was so good.) But I feel like I know these characters well after being a part of the fandom for five years so that definitely made it easier.

Yes Yami does seem the type to be amazed by such things. I worked off the theory that having lived in Egypt he wouldn't have seen snow and I doubt he visited other countries that would have for reasons I won't go into now. He maybe the strong and silent(ish) type but deep down he is impressed by such wonders. And it was based very slightly on my own experiences of seeing snow after not seeing it for many years. I forgot just how white everything can be. It is spectacular and I love snow. ^_
