Ahh, I liked this! I loved the look into Marik's thought process about who he chooses to brainwash and why, and I loved how he felt kind of uncomfortable around someone who wasn't brainwashed. He's so totally absorbed in his psychotic plan, it's kind of brilliant. Honda's questions weren't really all that probing, but the fact that Marik saw them that was is quite telling as to his state of mind. And, it's always fun to see characters who don't really interact much in canon do so in fanfic--it's fun to see how it pans out. Lovely fic--you turned a small moment into a detailed character study, as is your style. Keep up the amazing work. ♥
