I think he does wanna be with you but is wondering if you have time for him… and you’re wondering if he wants to be with you coz he never calls when he says he will… but he probably doesn’t coz he thinks you’ll be to busy to talk to him… you think he’s snubbing you… he calls you in the morn to maybe catch you before you head out… you are asleep obviously coz of your work patterns and it annoys you… he doesn’t try to call again

I sure will hunni ;) About the BBQ malarky, I did pass comment when we had our 'text-tiff' but one didn't bite back or chose to explain which was fair enough, yet made me think...
Something very similar happened last week also, when he was invited to a 'family Christening' He called me beforehand and told my mum to tell me....but no invite? I did highlight this to him when we was together, he answered me with 'I would of loved nothing better but for you to be with me!' O.K so why wasn't I invited to your work doo? Do I seem paranoid or insecure? I hope not. Maybe we don't talk/see enough of eachother to truely understand whats happening here, and I can only blame my work pattern. However, my night shifts only happen for two weeks every two months so it's not the end of the world I say.....
Hmmm well meet up with him for a good chat and explain about the "not seeing enough of each other for 2 weeks" and how it wont be like that all the time and next time it comes around hopefully he'll be more understanding to your working hours and leaving you be to catch up on sleep. As you say its only 2 weeks every 2 months!!
