My Geogrpahy prof. had his office & the entire GIS lab covered (including the ceiling) with post cards that he'd received over the years from his past students on all their trips and adventures.

can't pick a favorite. even with the hundreds i have there are 3 or 4 that always come to mind ... one is a 'legend of the seahorse' from the islands, one is a giant round postcard from my grandmother when she went to rome, and one is a handmade card from my ex's sister.
