Update on new job

I started my new job at the City of Brampton 3 weeks ago.  I always wanted to get my hands into working for the public sector, this is usually where most people who work in urban planning get their start and then move to private, I didn't, I when straight from school to work for a private firm, and I loved it. Like everything else getting to know

I am so glad that you like your new job. I could tell just by the look of happiness on your face when you were talking about it that it is a good thing for you . . and your outlook is very positive. You are one of the nicest and friendliest people I've ever met . . so I can't imagine that you wouldn't succeed at anything you set your mind to.

Again, I wish I were there with you to have a ton of fun!! We'd go to lunch quite a bit, I'm sure. ;)

the very relaxed deadlines and the open ended projects I'm involved in

... and that's what drives the land use lawyers (and in particular, their clients) insane ;)

i was thinking today how nice it would be to get a municipal attorney position in the future. 9-5 regularly... night meetings a couple of times a month... i think i can dig that ;)

I know!!! believe me. My group leader is a runner who encourages me to go running at luch time. It is a bit surreal, but I'm have set my mind to take advantage of the good, and do my best to improve the bad.
my hours: 8:30-4:30 I'm still the first one in and the last one out most of the days, and I still get to go home so relaxed.
