She sounded so much better on the phone, and really happy as one of her best mates is doing the same course there, and another friend is going to Kent which is also really close.

I'm sure she'll have a fab time. As I said before, she loved it when she saw it at the open day - I just think she was so disappointed that she didn't get into Sussex that she kind of panicked.

CHRIST CHURCH????? I work there! What is she doing? We are bloody good! Seriously, not just lovely atmosphere and very nice folks in extremely pretty city, no, we are GOOD! *smug grin*

Oh stupid me *slaps face* She's doing English lit. Joy! There are some very lovely tutors and I am responsible for Arts and Humanities, so if she wants to know something in advance or throughout I am sure I can chat about this and that, if she wants to ;-)

That would be so nice - I think she'd appreciate knowing theres a lovely someone on the faculty she can go and quiz if need be. We had a chat again last night and she is really excited now, so I'm dead pleased. She totally fell in love with the place when she went to the open day, so I know she'll have a wonderful time!

And, according to Big, at some time a Lush shop will be opening again!

Hope she enjoys herself in Canterbury - a lot of the city centre is being rebuilt and lots of new shops opening up - it should be a halfway decent shopping area once finished!
