Sadly I was unable to see it in person because we had to leave tribal throwdown befor the after party but this week befor class Amy showed us the boots they had on.Big platforms with the heels cut off!
After that I had a graiter aprication for the piece.Danceing in platforms is hard but also balaceing on your toes the whole time!

I'm not attacking you liking it (I think you're really cool after reading the ramble), I'm just giving my 2 cents.

To be honest, I thought it was gross, very poorly done, and painful to watch. I felt like it was saying "Belly dancers are a bunch of whores like everyone makes them out to be" that I couldn't watch anymore of it.

I'm all for fusion and thinking outside of the box, so please don't go off and tell me to "go off and hate something else" because I'm sick of getting flamed for my opinion.

I won't tell you to go hate anything :) I can completely understand why some didnt and will never appreciate it. Its NOT belly dance. It was a dance fusion piece that looks at a lifestyle thats not for everyone. I appreciated it because of my lifestyle, and I can understand why some might be offended. I wouldnt have seen this piece done at a regular belly dance event, but I thought for the particular venue, it was perfect.
