Sorry I've been a tad absent lately.

Been a crappy couple of weeks. Steve was in hospital just after New Year and has been diagnosed with type 1 diabetes so he's having to inject insulin and it's been rough as I've been so worried about him because he has hemorrhaging in the back of his eyes.

Also having to rethink the way he has to eat now. No sugar ( Read more... )

Sorry Steve's having a rough time. I hope things improve for him as the insulin helps him get things under control. Take care, both of you. *kisses*

I'm so sorry about Steve. I'm sure he will be fine but getting there has be very difficult, so many changes to made. You are both strong and I know you will work through it all but I wish you didn't have too. Hugs.

**HUGS**

Steve is very lucky to have such a loving and concerned partner! You are a sweetie!

I sure hope the hemorrhaging gets under control, that is very scary. Will keep you both in my thoughts & prayers.

Take your time with the writing, lovie, your audience will still be here when you're ready. I know mine has been very supportive as I took a lengthy break when Mum died just after Christmas.

*Mwah!*

cheeky, when you hadn't been posting for a while I became concerned that something was wrong. Thanks for letting us know. I wish I had wise words for you about hubby's condition. I guess it's time to find a good cookbook? At least you'll be able to go back to a fairly normal lifestyle once you get things under control. My thoughts are with you. Take care of yourself just as well as Steve.

*Hugs* to you and Steve, so much to think about and worry about, the hemorrhaging sounds really nasty, no wonder you were worried! I hope he's getting stabilised now with the insulin and diet, talk about having to completely change the way you look at preparing meals, etc.
Much as I'm looking forward to the new chapter Steve is your number one priority so no worried if you aren't able to post for a while, I completely understand. :)
