Ooh that sounds like such an excellent holiday! Italy is so, so beautiful, you'll love it! It's as hot as hell though, especially in August - you'll need to remember your factor 30! ;)
As for cameras, the first digital camera that I had was a Fuji and it's the best camera I've ever had. It's 7 years old now and still going strong! The one that I'm using now that I'd also recommend is the Panasonic DMC-FX50. It's a great little camera and is good indoors and out, although there aren't any manual settings so focusing is a bit annoying sometimes. A few of my friends have Canon Powershots, which are pretty good picture quality wise. I am currently lusting over the Nikon D50, but I'll have to wait 'til I've got a spare £400 knocking about until I can purchase that one...
thanks for the camera tips. i'm probably gonna go into jessops or somewhere, and ask to try out the camera to see what it looks like inside...i took my camera with me on friday and all the photos came out blurry, so it's made me even more determined!!
Yeah, I sat my last exam on Friday! I'm not officially finished until the end of September though, I've still got to do my dissertation, oh the joy. It's going to be weird not being a student any more.
Did you watch the Baftas last night? What the hell is going on with The Armitage's hair? He still looked hot though.
i did watched it, and was booing/heckling at the tv, cos of the lack of support for life on mars - eejits!!
And Armitage is filming Robin Hood at the mo, so my guess is Guy is gonna be so much more broody and hell-bent on killing robin, and of course that's demonstrated with longer hair!! But you're right, still very hot!!
I haven't been to Italy but I am planning to go to Rome this year, maybe next October. Florence is beautiful if you have an interest in art history as well. I'm sure you'll have a lovely holiday there.
Ireland and Scotland are two countries I sooo long to visit. We were thinking of Ireland for the honeymoon but then we opted for Austria instead which by the way is breathtaking.
If we go to Italy this year we'll definitely stay in Tuscany. Of course Rob is more interested in the wine tasting (which is so popular there) than in art museums :)
